Hey Folks,

As you know, we had 2 more weekends scheduled in the preseason and were shutting things down until October following those 2 weekends. However, today we found out that a number of our kids were facing eligibility issues because of their middle school rules – in Ark, Mo and KS, you can’t participate on another team while your middle school team is in season. In season is defined as the first day of practice – which began yesterday for some. In addition, the tournament the 13th is likely getting cancelled because there are not enough teams. We decided we were not going to have players risk violating their school district/state rules.
Accordingly, we are going to shut things down until the weekend of 10/22.

I spoke the the person in charge of group sales at the Dallas team hotel who is cancelling the rooms for this weekend. However, if you booked your room somewhere else or did not use the team group rate, you should call on you own to cancel.

We will have backs, receivers and QBs throwing on Sunday nights beginning shortly. I will get the details out soon.

Please tell you boys to have great middle school seasons. I will try to come watch as many games as I can.
